IAM Lead – Enterprise Security & Identity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IAM Lead to provide end to end architecture leadership and delivery oversight across enterprise identity, access management, and credential platforms.

This role is accountable for technical direction, solution integrity, and successful delivery outcomes across multiple identity capabilities and teams. You will act as the senior point of accountability for ICAM architecture and delivery, working closely with client stakeholders, platform leads, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall IAM architecture and delivery outcomes across identity governance, authentication, authorisation, privileged access, and cryptographic services.
  • Define and govern the target state IAM architecture, including integration patterns and cross platform alignment.
  • Act as the primary client facing technical authority for IAM, supporting workshops, design decisions, and executive discussions.
  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance across identity governance and lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Lead and support authentication and access management solution delivery.
  • Oversee privileged access and secrets management capabilities.
  • Support policy based authorisation frameworks and enterprise identity controls
  • Ensure consistency, security, and quality across IAM implementations
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies, and cross stream impacts across multiple initiatives
  • Support delivery planning, prioritisation, sequencing, and governance activities
  • Contribute to architectural documentation, governance artefacts, and delivery assurance processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience across identity, access management, or security architecture roles.
  • Proven experience leading large scale ICAM/IAM or enterprise IAM programs.
  • Strong background across IAM disciplines including IGA, PAM, Authentication, and Authorisation.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging senior client stakeholders and influencing outcomes.
  • Strong architectural judgement with practical delivery capability.
  • Experience operating across complex enterprise or highly regulated environments.
  • Strong communication, governance, and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience across Zero Trust or enterprise security transformation programs.
  • Exposure to cryptographic services and credential management platforms.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise or government security environments.
  • Knowledge of identity governance frameworks and modern access management platforms.
